![]() Remember that unless you throw in a lot of Henning and EGW parts, there is a lot of "slop" in the system. Since I don't have jig, if I wanted to shorten the reset on my gun, I would take lots and lots of measurements with a micrometer, and then skip putting in the sear, trigger, hammer springs until I'm getting close to where I want to be. I can see how that would have cut down on the reassembly cycles. I believe that Tanfogliofan setup a jig that replicated all the distances between all the pivot and sliding points when he was figuring out the ultimate trigger job for his Stock II. Remember to simulate the slide pushing down on the ears of the trigger bar as well since you won't have the slide on. It'll be obvious which part of the sear can be trimmed. Take the slide off and do a lot of trigger pulls and resets.
